Works…and it’s currently FREE!

I have many, many photos taken with my iPhone that display significant proportion distortion. I recently saw that SKEW was on promotion for free and thought…what the heck, let me give this a try. Well, it works! 5 start! I’ve experimented on several of my most distorted pictures and after using SKEW you could not tell the photo was ever anything but perfect. In retrospect, I would have paid for the app to get this functionality.

One caveat…you will need to accept a level of trial and error when using the app. Most of its buttons do things that are VERY easy to figure out. So, tap every button and see what they do. The most important functionality of the app, IMO, correcting out of proportion pictures requires much more trial and error. The directions don’t help much, Perhaps someone has posted a YouTube “How To” video to help. I haven’t looked yet. It would be great if the developers produced a YouTube video you could access from within the app showing how to best use the “anti-skewing” feature. Some developers do this and I have found it very helpful.

As it was, I just kept fooling around with the feature and did get excellent results. Touch this…move that. Touch this other thing…move it. Keep touching, moving, and adjusting and eventually you’ll end up with an excellent picture that will shock and amaze.
